Get ready for some very teethy pics!
Cosmetic dentistry does not have to cost a fortune. Cosmetic dentistry can be simple and quick. In a single visit we can change dark teeth, stained teeth, uneven teeth, broken teeth and yellow teeth into something worth smiling about.
Do you ever cover your mouth when you laugh? Do you stay away from close up photographs? Do you smile with your mouth closed? If your teeth are stopping you from having a carefree smile...it doesn't have to be this way!
In this post we will cover a range of options to improve your smile. The pictures displayed are all dental work done at Bytes Dental.
The single dark tooth
Option 1 for the dark tooth. Composite resin veneer. White resin is applied to the front of the tooth to mask the colour.

Option 2 for discoloured teeth. Porcelain veneer. Like a false fingernail, porcelain is crafted to the tooth shape and bonded into place.

Option 3 for a dark tooth. Ceramic crown. If the tooth is weak as well as discoloured, a full crown can cover and protect the tooth with a stronger material.

Option 4 for a dark tooth. Internal bleaching where the dead tooth is whitened from the inside.

Multiple discoloured teeth
Option 1 for discoloured teeth. Tooth whitening with Pola Whitening Gel.

Option 2 for discoloured teeth. Composite resin veneers. Quick, inexpensive, reversible.

Option 3 for discoloured teeth. Porcelain veneers. High quality, crafted, shiny porcelain. Teeth may need to be cut to allow for porcelain to align the teeth. More details about porcelain veneers here.

Crowded teeth
Option 1 for crowded teeth. Orthodontics. Either fixed braces or invisalign clear trays can move the teeth.

Option 2 for crowded teeth. Veneers can cover the crowding if it is mild. Teeth that stick out may need to be cut back to allow for the veneers to align.

Missing teeth options (but that's another chapter...)
Option 1. A removable partial denture.
Option 2. A fixed ceramic bridge, which joins the teeth together to fill the gap.
Option 3. A dental implant. A specialist will surgically place the implant into the bone and let it heal for 6 months. A crown tooth can then be attached to the implant, filling the gap.
