The title VASO-VAGAL SYNCHRONY is derived form a medical term VASOVAGAL SYNCOPE which means fainting. The artworks contained within may have this effect on some viewers. Any-one with a heart condition should enter at their own risk.

VASO relates to blood vessels that are depicted at the back of the brain as it forges through time. A closer inspection of these vascular appendanges reveals that they are actually in the form of the Brisbane River.

VAGAL relates to the 10th cranial nerve (the Vagas) that is responsible for fainting.

VAGAS has also become a colloquial term to refer to Brisbane, or Bris-Vegas.

SYNCHRONY means that artworks displayed here by Kim Davies are available for viewing, in harmony, on one site, at one time.
